My World
My world? My world is getting scary.
My chest, is getting hairy!
It’s curious this process known as development
The conscious concentration on one’s mental maturation.
It’s learning to think before you speak
But never forgetting your instinct.
I find my freer moments are conversations
I have internally, in a room locked invisibly
Where I hash out the plot lines of myself
With the little voice inside me
Who I no longer choose to fear
But am trying to trust and learning about love.
We are uniting, indivisible Aaron.

He Wants To Be An Electrical Engineer
Waiting by Ali-Reza Kashani
With many questions that need to be answered,
I stand here and wait.
Waiting on the results
To receive the answer to the question.
The question that has been played out in many ways in my mind, But all I can do is wait,
Wait for your response.
I know that I will get the answer I want,
But till then, I'm patiently waiting
Waiting for you.

He Wants To Be A Pastor!
When We Were Angels by Tommy Welty
When we were angels,
we found gold in the parking lot.
So, on Saturday we explored.
We brought with us all we need;
a shovel,
boots,
lunch.
We walked down the creek,
covering ourselves in mud,
and adventure.
We never found gold
by the time the rains came.
We ran our separate ways.
"See you on Monday!"
Now we are men.
There is no gold,
but faded yellow paint telling us where we go,
slowly baptized
by time.

He Wants To Be A Physicist!
The Beginning by Alexander Aavang
So slowly the eons pass
The cold emptiness stretching forever
Holding within in it no spark, no substance
At once a flicker
A flash
An explosion
Life explodes from nothingness
The heat and power
Leaving behind
The cosmos
So slowly the eons pass
The cold emptiness stretching forever
Holding within in it no spark, no substance
At once a flicker
A flash
An explosion
Life explodes from nothingness
The heat and power
Leaving behind
The cosmos

She Wants To Be A Writer!
What Color? by Kate Stasiak
he is the boy who sits beside me
and i am as red as the sneakers
that he is wearing
he caught me staring... See More
i pretended to pretend
to watch the teacher
as she wrote fractions on the board
while my heart was strummin' chords
maybe i'll wear my red sneakers tomorrow
and see what color he turns
he is the boy who sits beside me
and i am as red as the sneakers
that he is wearing
he caught me staring... See More

to watch the teacher

He Wants To Be A Statistician!
You Are Not Alone by Noah Curtis
I went psychotic once. I thought the CIA was after me.
Getting help hurt and was excruciating. It took something from me.
My family and friends saved me. They brought me back to life.
I came back with ferocity. I went after life with vengeance.
A plan began to settle. I saw life as I had never expected.
A future that I couldn’t have even fathomed
was being painted in front of me.
I began to reach out to those who were afflicted like me.
I began to educate people and talk about ‘1-North’.
Statistics say 1 in 4 families are afflicted.
You are not alone.

She wants to be a high school latin teacher!
Let Herself In by Olivia Jean
Spring is knocking at the door
In the form of birds waking me up through my open window
In the form of children darting through traffic on their bikes
In the form of new love springing from everywhere
In the form of driving with windows down and music blasting
We've been waiting all year for this glorious end to the misery of winter
Now that it's here we see why we endure the wait
Because grass is supposed to be green
Because skies are supposed to be blue
Because spring has let herself in
Spring is knocking at the door
In the form of birds waking me up through my open window
In the form of children darting through traffic on their bikes
In the form of new love springing from everywhere

She Wants To Teach In The Philippines!
Smile Today by G.A.
A lot of things really made me smile today…
Just walking home after school made me smile.
I tend to do that often…
I look like a crazy fool smiling to myself walking down the sidewalk.
Seeing the skyline everyday makes me smile…
Not missing the bus makes me smile.
Making it to my classes on time makes me smile…
Some people's fashion choices make me smile.
I don’t know…
I just smile a lot.
